Gliding and paragliding
In the province of Río Negro , the Cathedral and the Otto mounts, the Amphitheater and the area neighboring the Puelo Lake as well as the Piltriquitrón mount in El Bolsón, provide the ideal weather for paragliding during the summer. In the province of La Pampa you can practice it in the Lihue Calel National Park. The Tronador, Cathedral, and López mounts in the province of Río Negro; the Alvear and Monte Olivia mounts in Tierra del Fuego are tempting alternatives to enjoy the challenging mountains. Neuquén's peaks pose also great challenges. The impressive Lanín, the Domuyo peak – the highest of Patagonia with 4709 meters, the Tromen and the Corona Mount attract climbers and adventure lovers. Ice climbing Equipped with crampons, piolets [small ax] or tractels [hammers or small clubs], they may pass through waterfalls or watercourses that freeze during winter, as well as imposing glaciers. In Santa Cruz , the Perito Moreno, Viedma and Torre glaciers invite you to the challenge of climbing their frozen walls. An option for the more advanced adventurers is the Argentine peak of the Cerro Tronador, between December and March, in the province of Río Negro. In Tierra del Fuego, the large variety, qualities, and levels of ice consistency seduce the most consummate climbers.
Rappelling and climbing

Windsurfing, surfing and Kitesurfing
The Patagonian winds, lakes and sea, come together to provide a special place for the practice of the most varied aquatic sports.
